Media Rights

A working framework for event coverage and creator submissions that keeps permissions, credit, and ownership understandable.

Current status

This page is a planning draft and is not yet an effective agreement. It will be finalized before Preempt opens paid registration, accepts store payments, or relies on these terms for a public program.

Event coverage

Future event terms may permit Preempt to record, broadcast, edit, publish, and promote gameplay, voice, names, handles, team branding, and participant appearances connected to the event.

Creator submissions

The planned creator initiative will begin with finished shorts or videos. A separate license will define permitted uses before Preempt accepts a submission.

Ownership

Submitting work will not automatically transfer ownership. The final license will identify what the creator keeps and what permission is granted to Preempt.

Credit and links

Approved creator features will use agreed attribution and links when practical. Requirements and exceptions will be stated in the final submission terms.

Third-party rights

Submitters must have permission for music, footage, logos, likenesses, and other protected material included in their work.

Withdrawal and archival use

Final terms will explain whether future use can be withdrawn, how already-published material is handled, and whether records may be retained for legal or administrative purposes.
