Code of Conduct

The baseline behavior expected across Preempt community spaces, programs, collaborations, and competitions.

Current status

This page is a planning draft and is not yet an effective agreement. It will be finalized before Preempt opens paid registration, accepts store payments, or relies on these terms for a public program.

Respect

Treat competitors, creators, staff, volunteers, partners, veterans, civilians, and community members with basic dignity.

Harassment and discrimination

Targeted harassment, threats, hate speech, discriminatory conduct, stalking, doxxing, and unwanted sexual conduct will not be accepted.

Competitive integrity

Cheating, collusion, match manipulation, exploitation, account sharing, and knowingly false eligibility information undermine the community and may lead to removal.

Safety and legality

Do not promote illegal activity, credible violence, self-harm encouragement, or conduct that places others at unreasonable risk.

Conflicts and reporting

Use official reporting channels, preserve relevant evidence, avoid retaliation, and allow moderators or event staff to review the matter.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and context, responses may include guidance, warnings, content removal, restrictions, disqualification, suspension, or permanent removal. Event-specific procedures may add appeal rights.
